Some people think that Diwali is the time when lot of money will go on shopping. People shop for many articles and this will include the gift articles and even metals like gold and silver. Some people shop for trendy attire so that they can wear at puja or diwali parties. Diwali is the day that is amavasya which means there’s no mood in the sky on that day. But still, people lit up the bulbs and diyas and so there will be lot of light. Thus, in spite of amavasya, you will see that there will be ample of light. So, this would mean light winning over the darkness. You should get Diwali Ganesha Idol and opt for Ganesha Puja in Diwali days.

What does win over darkness signifies?
 
Win over darkness would not just mean that there’s lot of light on the diwali night. It will also mean that there’s lot of good things coming on the way and positivity will win over negativity. It would also mean that evil will now go away and there will be goodness around. This is the reason why we renovate homes or clean homes during diwali to remove all the negativity and dirt from home and office.
 
Diwali is the happy festival and people really love to enjoy doing everything for the fest. In fact, the preparations start so much in advance that you will just feel that that is diwali time only. Of course, you will see that there are more expenses at these times. But perhaps the incomes will also be more. The businesses run very well. Also, people get extra money called as bonus generally for diwali. So, people don’t find it pretty tough to opt for shopping and spending money. The rituals may be different, but purpose is same
 
Diwali is celebrated by people of different languages. All the Hindu people in India celebrate Diwali. It’s just that there would be minor differences in the rituals. But overall, the purpose is same for all. People invite guests at home and they all enjoy together. Kids light up the fire crackers and there’s exchange of gifts too. People conduct puja at home and they seek blessings of deities. So, depending upon the place of location, there are pujas conducted. There would be a few changes in the ritual, but overall you will see that the purpose of diwali celebration is same among all.
 
People pray for good health, wealth and peace. Goddess Laxmi is the Goddess of prosperity and so she is being preached on Diwali days so that people get success in their life. Diwali time is the best time to start any new venture. For kids its sweets and fire crackers. But for elders it is much more than that. Enjoy diwali fest to the fullest without any stress.
